Engineer Salem Ali Basamer, Chairman of board of directors of Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation, and Dr. Zain Mohamed Zoum, as representatives of the Ministry of Transport for the Maritime Affairs and Ports Sector, participate in the International Conference on Maritime Transport and Logistics (Maralog 11), which started its first session this morning, Sunday, in Alexandria, Republic of Egypt The event was sponsored by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Abul-Ghait, and the Egyptian Minister of Transport, Lieutenant-General Kamel Al-Wazir.

The conference, which will be held over three days in Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt, is scheduled to discuss important pivotal issues related to the role of technology in managing the blue economy, maritime transport and ports, and the challenges facing the blue economy.
