A delegation from the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation, representing Engineer Salem Ali Basamer Chairman of board of directors of YASPC, participated in the activities of the Marlog Conference (13), entitled (Towards Smart Green Blue  Infrastructure) in Alexandria, Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of Mr. Marwan Mohammad Al Yazeedi, Head of the Marketing and Media Department in YASPC, he was accompanied by Dr. Zain Mohammad Zoom, Engineer Razi Mohammad Al-Boasi, and Mr. Anil Abdullah Al-Kathiri.

 The conference, which was organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport during three days (March 3 - 5), discussed scientific papers by participants from different countries, including sustainable development, infrastructure, clean energy, smart ports, environmental engineering, treating emissions from operations in ports, and developing Green infrastructure in ports, logistics and a number of various topics.

An exhibition of marine services and equipment was opened with the participation of companies specialized in the field of maritime transport and logistics, The delegation of the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation also participated in the regular meeting (62) of the Board of Directors of the Arab  Sea Ports Federation and its General Assembly (31).

The Board of Directors of the Federation discussed a number of important topics during the session’s activities, It also presented the activity report of the Human Skills Development Committee in addition to members’ suggestions for exchanging experiences.

Among Arab seaports to spread benefit in various fields.

 The Union aims to coordinate and cooperate between Arab ports and unify visions for the advancement of Arab ports and contribute to achieving economic integration between Arab countries.
