Eng. Salim Ali Basamer Chairman of the Board of Directors of YASPC, wellcomed in his office today a delegation from the Chinese company "Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co.Ltd". The meeting discussed investment opportunities in the construction of future ports in the two locations of Barum and Dabbah in Hadramout Governorate.

The Chairman welcomed Mr. Lin Yang, General Manager of the company in the Middle East, Mr. Lee Haiyi, Assistant Director of the Company, and Mr. Mohammad Ali Al Zubaidi, Deputy CEO of the Company's Projects Division, reviewing the previous technical studies of the two ports sites in Barum and Dabbah. With a positive impact on the national economy and the current challenges facing the two projects.

Engineer Basamer assure that the Corporation appreciated the visit to the Chinese delegation in the current circumstances and will provide previous studies of the two projects and will contribute to the investment in ports in order to develop commercial and maritime activity in the province. The meeting included discussions about the future ports in Hadramout Governorate and commercial and investment activities.

The delegation expressed its desire for investment cooperation and trade exchange, conducting technical studies on port projects and investment in them, and opening up prospects for cooperation between Chinese companies and Yemen.

The delegation toured the wharves and yards of the port of Mukalla, where he explained " Basamer " possibilities and mechanism of work in the port of Mukalla and the movement of ships and goods.
