Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation concluded, the specialized training course in first aid targeting fifteen trainees from the members of the Emergency Committee at the port of Mukalla, which was organized by the Corporation's Training Department and the Corporation's Occupational Safety and Industrial Security Department in coordination with the Kaizen Center for Training and Consulting.
In conclusion, "Eng. Salem Ali Basamer Chairman of the Board of Directors of YASPC" praised the attendance and interaction participants shown by the participants in the session, hearing from some of the session about the most important things they learned from them, and the most prominent of what they learned during the field visit to places of danger during work and possible injuries and the warning of safety measures and dealing with any an emergency at any moment in the technical workshop and docks in the port, and certificates were distributed to the participants.
It is noteworthy that the Foundation has issued an administrative order to form an emergency committee with a person from all departments of the institution so that each person in the committee is responsible for a group of individuals who provide the necessary aid to them in case of any emergency, as well as safe evacuation in cases of fire and emergency, and the committee remains permanent in the institution holding meetings and sessions For its members to raise their efficiency in emergency situations.
These courses are part of the plans and programs that develop and raise the capabilities and skills of the corporation's staff, and improve the performance of the institution's employees and workers.
