Mukalla berths have arrived today, the last shipment of new equipments dedicated to the work of handling containers in the port, and is the third and final shipment of imported equipments from Italy, Belgium and Sri Lanka via the global shipping line (MSC) .

Eng. Salim Ali Basmair, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YASPC , explained that the three shipments contain parts of a 45-ton forklift and a 45-ton Rich taker crane made by Italian company (Ferrari) for handling containers, and two truck head  made by Belgian industry (Mol), and two Container trailers  made by Sri Lankan industry.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors said that the Corporation , with self-financing, has signed a purchase agreement in a legal manner and formal procedures with the UAE company Portic Link General Trading and agents of the Italian company Ferrari in the Middle East on the import, installation and training of the port's need for modern container handling mechanisms that meet the growing activity and improve the level of services at the port .
