Engineer Salem Ali Basamer, Chairman of the board of directors of the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation, participated in the meeting of the Arab Ports Union, which was held this morning in Alexandria, as a representative of Yemeni ports, nominated by the Ports Union and commissioned by His Excellency the Minister of Transport, Dr. Abdul Salam Humaid.

The meeting will be held in the presence of the delegations of five Arab countries, namely the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Yemen, Jordan, Iraq, Libya and twelve Arab countries via video conference technology, in addition to the participation of the Arab Expert House in Maritime Transport, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

In the meeting, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YASPC  had delivered a speech in which he thanked the Secretary General of the Union, Rear Admiral Essam El-Din El-Badawy, for the good organization of the meeting, the warm reception, and the interest in communicating with Arab ports. for ports.

Eng.Basamer said that the Yemen Arabian Sea Ports Corporation has a previous interest in the field of rehabilitation and training, and it intends to intensify this field more in the coming years.
